AIRTIGHT

In order to increase interests in the Airbus A380, the company requested the design of an intake experience (I.E.). This vessel functions as a precursive experience where student groups, investors, and designers are immersed in the branding, concept and ideas of Airbus.
The ideology of the studio was one of fluidity, where the creation of an object was regulated in terms of gaining an understanding of a vocabulary of shape, color and material. Therefore an explanation of form did not require justification by a programmatic logic but rather one of a formal relationship of difference or similarity to the plane, and to the theatrics of experience.
